Default Twin Turbo S2000

I was thinking about it today and decided to ask if anyone has done this yet. Wouldn`t a twin turbo setup give us way more torque down low? I know we wouldn`t get big HP numbers with a TT Setup but for those of us who only want 350 and a good amount of torque I think this would be a good Idea....Does anyone know the pros and cons that a TT setup would have on an S2000?

its worthless money you'd be spending when you could get the torque and hp with so much less than TT

You would have double the plumbing, and 2 very small turbos. Considering the car was never designed for turbo clearance, you'll run into some serious packaging problems.

Yeah I was thinking about the packaging problem as well but I though if someone made a longer manifold. you could place both turbos infront of the enigne...What I mean is having 2 Turbos going into one pipe. This way you wouldn`t have doubble the pipping....You could have a small Trubo and a bigger turbo for example like a GT25 and a GT 35 couldn`t you?....This way the smaller turbo would give the power to spool the bigger one and add more low end torque....I am not qlaiming to know anything about TT Setups or even Turbo setups for that matter....I am just asking because I am cerious to learn about how this would work on our cars....

add 2 more cylinders to the F20 and twin turbo will be perfect

it's just incorrect physics and you will be faced with lots of problem
you will actually end up with less midrange torque and response compare to a well matched single turbo

When this forum was new, pictures were posted of a TT S2000 at some car show. Everybody went GA-GA! Lots of drool over many keyboards. Talk of how lightning quick it was at the drag strip spread throughout S2K-land. Young boys wet their pants just talking about it across the nation. Cries of "More! More!" were heard for weeks. No "More" ever came.
We found out later that the car was towed to and from the show. When it did start, it didn't run so good. We've never heard of or seen another attempt. Gotta wonder why, don't ya? Some things are best kept as a "legend in your own mind".

That car was at the NOPI nats in Atlanta, in 01, I believe. The last pics I saw of it didn't have any intercooler piping done. It did look nice on a trailer though.

A twin turbo trailer queen. Nice! May as well have put in a quad. Twice the turbos, twice as good, right?
