Twin turbo's are pretty useless on a car with one exhaust manifold.

Twin turbo's are good for V '6s where there are two manifolds to tap. Or V8's.

I THINK I got that right... Either way an inline 4 cylinder is not a good twin turbo setup. You'd have all sorts of spooling issues and it would probably never really work.

if they put 8 turbos on a camaro then you can put 2 on the S2000.

You can have a smaller turbo off the exhaust feeding a bigger turbo which goes into the intake manifold.

But WHY would you want to? From everything I've seen the 4 cylinder doesn't push enough air to begin with to make it feasable. It would be like trying to suck a baseball through a straw.

The big V8's can move tons more air than our 4 cylinders. You'd expend more energy to make it work than you'd create.

its not the smartest thing to do but you could make it work.

You put a GT30 on the exhaust manifold. It will spool fast and put lets say 15psi at 4,500, you put a t3/t72 which is way bigger than the gt30 and requires way more air. Now 15psi from the 1st turbo is also waaaay more air than any v8 can produce, thus you will be spooling the shit out of that huge turbo, then you lose a little in the intercooler but your still good to go.

Ofcourse this could of all been done with a single turbo but you still can't say that you have one of the 2 twin turbo S2000's in the World, or that I know of.

I was under the impression that the Mark V Golf GTI as a twin turbo 2.0 litre FSI engine, small turbo for the low revs and larger turbo for the higher revs.
