I really like the logic that went into it. I was expecting a lot more in te mid-range tough. I guess when it's 2 cyclinders trying to spool 1 turbo, it will still have the same lag. I'm not sure what the owners intentions were (if it's to road race or just street). For road race, I think I would try to go with a slightly smaller turbo, to make this a real beast at the track. I'm sure you guys are going to run a big oil cooler/???
I agree. The smallest turbo that would still make this a worth while setup would be the GT28R instead of the Disco Potatoes. The ability to hit 700whp would be gone and you would only gain about 300-500 RPM's of spool time.

Another option, would be to swap the Turbine Housings for a smaller A/R; say a .48 instead of a .63. I have a feeling that the Mid Range would be insane if that was done.

Other than being different what does this allow us to do that we couldn't do with our single set-up. Sorry may be a stupid question.

Just be different. He said that in his original post. He just wanted to do something a little different......that was all.

Correction: one EGT is worthless.... one on each cylinder has huge benefits.
I somewhat agree, however I think its a waste of energy to have EGTs unless you just like to overspend where you dont have to. Seems to me that I would want the probes in each runner to remain there, so weak that the probe cant take the heat. I dunno, thats just me ill never waste money on EGT's. I have seen your setup though and it is pretty badass I will say that.

Well, it comes down to how optimized you want your setup and also how good your engine management is. If you do not have the capability to individually tune each cylinder, then 4 EGTs would be a waste aside from letting you know which cylinder runs leanest and tuning for that.

True not many systems can take advantage of EGT's. AEM can to an extent (although with only rpm based tables it's usually counter productive) KPro can't at all. Neither can any piggy back so in the end even though EGT's are cheap the ability to use them is pretty expensive.

I have been looking for someone to do this fo a long time . We did a MR2 spyder with twin GT12s a few years back and have been looking for someone that wanted to spend the money on a S2k . Someone mentioned $10k ... .I would say more like $15k with all the one off custom work if not more ( this is if you paided for the labor involved )

I agree , with alot of people here . When we did the spyder we were not looking for huge numbers we were looking for response . I think a pair or 22's or 25's would have been a better choice if one was looking for response and a better setup for road racing . This dyno looks no different that the GT3071 we did the other day .

But Props for being different first Very nice work
