Default Twinscroll turbo sizing

I'm piecing together an AFI turbo kit. I have the manifold and now I'm searching turbos. I'm interested in the 5858 but it's largest AR for a T4 is .68. Next is the 5862 it's largest AR is .84. Last turbo I was looking at is the Borg Warner 7670. It has plenty of AR choices ranging from .83 to 1.22. This one seems like thebest choice for the power I'm looking for. I've read a couple threads saying that you need large AR's with a twinsscroll mani. I'm not looking for crazy hp, 400-550. I just want a fast spooling street setup. If these turbos are to small, I'll setup to a 6262 but I feel it may leave a little to be desired on the street. I'm basically looking for GTX3076 or 71 performance without the price.

I personally have no experience with the Borg Warner turbos but from what I've been reading they are the shizzle with a good flowing manifold.

Anything smaller than say a GT35R flow capacity nets poor results on a twin scroll. Thus the applicable useage of a twin scroll is for 600hp+ applications.

You're talking 400-550hp, that's too small to bother with twin scroll from what I've seen. In theory the twin scroll sounds great, yet every setup I see it there's too few gains.

I think the GTX3076 and a equal long runner of quality is what you should run, skip the twin scroll setup. Your lag will be so minute it's not worth even discussing. I hit INSTANT spool with a equally matched turbo.

Great turbo and all but really?..... 1000hp? I love the s2k for it's track performance.... at past 700 or so it starts to past the point of diminishing returns.

the untimate street setup would be your t4 afi twin scroll manifold with a gtx3076r with a t4 divided 1.06 ar hot side.

On my evo 8 i have a gtx3582r with the t4 dvided 1.06ar hot side with the full race t4 twinscroll manifold. This setup makes great power and spool faster then my old sinscroll gt3076r setup.

An EFR would be nice but they're on like galatic backorder and also to pricey. I'm looking for something with the performance of the GTX3076 but not the price tage. I think one the ones above would work but I'm not sure about there AR sizings. I just saw the BW 8070 and I think it would fit the bill perfect, but I can't really find any information on it.

"Gotta pay to play" but to answer the original question, I am running a divided 1.15 hotside, but like has been mentioned my power goals are wella bove the 450-500 you stated, wouldnt waste my money on twinscroll at that point
