ultimate racing or inlinepro turbo?
being new to the s2000 world(ive had my car for 3 weeks) ive been looking at everything thats available for them and i came across these two turbo kits.
Id like to hear from owners or those with experience(good or bad) with these kits and your thouhts on either kit and even what is needed to improve on either one.
thanks alot

The best thing to do is to see if you can buy the exh. manifold, downpipe, and IC piping seperate from inline pro. Then piece the rest of it together. You can buy yourself the same turbo or better, a tial wastegate, tial blowoff valve, oil feed line and fittings and still save over 2 grand. Use that 2 grand to buy yourself an EMS and some good injectors. You won't have to run a FMU(garbage) either and with a good tune, the car will run better and safer. Do the math and you will see for yourself. With my old hatch, I always pieced together my turbo kits w/ the best parts and saved money. $4500-$5500 for a UR or inlinepro turbo kit, is way too much IMO. Good luck.
what he said.
do your homework. if you can't figure out exactly what you need by the time you are ready to buy the turbo kit, then you aren't really ready. your wallet should never be bigger than your brain. a turbo is not a simple bolt on upgrade, you have to realize the effect it will have on a lot of your other engine/drivetrain components and plan for that.
btw, i would definitely not go with a turbo setup without an ems. if you plan on running more than -7 lbs. of boost i would recommend engine work as well.

i made my own kit and it was pretty easy. don't listen to these guys when they say it isn't a bolt on kit. if you run some what low boost it will be just fine on an emanage with a good tune. have had a turbo kit for awhile and have no problems. it is the best way to go. way better than sc in my opinion.
oh yeah and it only cost me about $3000

I'd get a Lovefab manifold and build from there. Not to say that Cody's kit isn't probably the best on the market, I just think that you could do better getting the same peices used... But I drive a Civic and comb junkyards so I'm cheap.
