July 10th - my car has been down exactly one year now with a blown motor

Sad day, just had to vent....I'm sure some of you can feel my pain!

Will be back up and running bigger and better this year (atleast that's the plan)...fully built motor, new turbo and upgraded fuel system.

Can't wait for some top down driving

What's the longest you've been down with your FI S2000 build?

RIP (temporarily) S2K-F8's car...

My car was down for about three weeks while I first installed everything SC related. Was recently down for a week over the 4th holiday for a clutch swap and some other stuff and its good to be back behind the wheel. Luckily it rained pretty much the entire time my car was down last, lol. Made it much easier.

I don't plan on it breaking since I've left it stock. No downtime for me. We'll see if I ever put FI in it.

Hope you get the beast running soon.

I'm currently in London for school and my S2k has been in storage the whole time. I've seen a couple S2K's over here, and have gotten extremely jealous. The wait will be worth it! Good luck!

Car was down for majority of last summer getting Diff & caged. Looks like it will be down for majority of this summer as well. Its been down since May with bent valves. I hope to get it back mid August, im having InlinePro build me a grenade proof head.. Can't wait to drive it with the Dog engagement gears as well. The car will pretty much be what I have been striving for, for years, lol A mid 10 second "race car" that I could still drive on the street. Dont beat yourself up, it will be worth the wait.

This is all pending how long it takes a few small parts to come from Australia, lol car might be down waaaaaaay longer haha

mine was down for around 8 months in 2011. Currently its been down for around a month. pfab got my manifold back to me in under a week but precision hasn't even called me about my turbo I shipped to them a month ago. I assume they havn't even torn it down yet.. if i gotta wait another month and i'm buying a gt3071r and selling the new 5858 when it comes in
