Default upgrade for CT SC intake boot?

comptech kit, non aftercooled

90 degree rubber boot is worn out from rubbing on fan, one that connects airfilter to the supercharger.

does anyone sell a hardpipe version instead of rubber?

thanks

The newer version of the comptech kit actually uses a rotomolded plastic piece instead of the silicon angle that came in the older kits. It has a flat section on it to prevent rubbing on the fan. You can but the plastic piece and the rubber boots directly from comptech for ~$100 if I recall correctly (I upgraded to the plastic piece when I swapped to a Novi 1200 blower).

They look like this now btw: you can see it is three pieces instead of one (and a hell of a lot easier to install)

That's new... How did you contact them? When I was purchasing new parts for a used kit I bought about 1.5 years back they had no problem selling me individual pieces of the kit, down to single bolts and o-rings.
