SOS still sells their conversion kit to get you a N1200 on one of the older N1000 CT kits. $2000 for the mount kit and a new N1200 blower. Like Junky said, you can sell off your old N1000 to recoup some money. It should put the blower outlet in nearly the same position. Close enough that a silicone coupler should take up any difference.

The CT crank pulley is around $150.

Yeah ive seen them go for that all day if you can still find one, sometimes cheaper. Most have an aftercooler. Might still get lucky to find an aftcooled kit for not much more then that. 3k is about the ave going rate. But they all come in various levels of equip, depending on if they remained a base kit with the rrfpr, or ran an EMS and ditched some of the base stuff, or moved to an fmic and got ride of the aftercooled set up etc.

Hang on im confused here.....

What has upgrading the blower have anything to do with him gaving belt slip?

Why don't you just get that company in Texas to make you 8-rib pulleys?

Then I had to purchased:

New vtec block, L bracket, pulley tension mount, isolator hat and sleeve bushes, pulley, belt..... Tax and shipping.
If you have an old comptech kit and upgrade to the nv1200, none of these things are required for the retrofit, other then the pulley because the shaft diameters are different between the two series blowers, and then a possible belt depending on the size pulley you get. So im not sure why you needed all the other things, unless they were just bad and needed replacing regardless.
Yes you are right I had an old comptec kit. So if the OP has a newer kit they will not need the extra bits I needed, Just the blower, plate, pulley and belt.

SOS don't sell the upgrade plate anymore. I tried. They said they'd put me on a waiting list and if enough people showed interest they'd then make and sell them.

They have done this in the past, they apparently are too cheap to fork out the initial investment to keep these on the shelf, so they wait, and buy up a dozen and then sell them off, cycle repeats. But never know when they will decide to do another batch.

I had an old comptech kit and all I needed was the SOS plate for the new NV 1200 blower, nothing else. Re used everything else Comptech. I do recall needing to transfer over the little top oil feed nipple from the 1000 to the 1200 is all.

Comptech is typically slow to respond (a few days to a week) but typically comes through. It's definitely frustrating dealing with them, but super nice that they'll sell individual parts of their kits.

I would also make sure your comptech tensioner bracket has full movement with the blower installed before installing the SOS bracket with everything on the car. Unless they changed their design, the bracket hits the blower, not allowing full belt tension which is quite a pain in the ass...
