Default URGENT: 1/8" BSP adapter Vortech Install question

I am trying to install the adapter that goes into the block that connects to the T fitting for the oil... does the adapter fit easily into the block? I am concerned with stripping the threads on the block if I try fitting it in since it seems like the adapter threads are a little bit larger than the Stock oil pressure threads.

need help asap

It should thread in just as easily as the stock oil pressure sensor. I haven't done a turbo install on my S yet, but every other honda motor I've threaded the 1/8" BSPT adapter into has gone in easily by hand. I always use teflon on the threads as well. Just be careful towards the end when tightening with a tool not to tighten it too much, the aluminum threads in the block strip easily.

This is 100% the adapter that came with the vortech kit, and not one you bought on your own?

I bought a used kit and I used what was included, I couldnt imagine the previous owner using something else? I dont know I tried what was included and then I went to a specialty shop to see if they had something that would fit... I guess the previous owner didnt include the right part?

Maybe just go out and buy another BSPT fitting; does the fitting provided look used?

1/8 NPT is very similar but you do not want to screw that into your block

mcmaster will have it

Vortech does not respond to emails. Call them with credit card in hand.
