Default Used Superchargers...

I was looking at going FI and turbo seems like to much work for me considering i know NOTHING about it. I've read and read and it still seems out of my league. I was looking at getting a comptech supercharger. Would it be a bad idea to buy a used s/c??

Depends on how used. Also, make sure you get the parts list from comptech and make sure its complete, or the missing parts are easily replaced.

If you are just looking for better performance but don't want to spend 5k, buy the 4.57 gears. Best bang for buck performance mod.

I'm already saving to get a supercharger. I should have it by the end of the year, but I was just asking. So i might as well just buy a new one?

1.)What exactly would the gears do for me, do they make my 0-60mph or 1/4mile drop?

2.)Are they good to have with a supercharger if I do it later this year?

3.)How much are they +install

Thanks!

I bought used and it was great. But it all depends on the seller. Mine had most parts and any not included were advised before purchase (fuel pump). The belt was forgotten but I sourced one locally and the seller sent me the original as soon as I informed him.

That said, buy from a less reputable seller and your experience could be very different.
