Default VAFC Wiring Diagram

I recently bought a VAFC and was quite disappointed that I was unable to find any wiring diagrams to install it. With help from the VAFC manual and by ripping off Stratocaster's Emanage wiring diagram (hope he doesn't mind) I was able to come up with what I thought was the correct wiring. I installed everything, and it seems to be working perfect. Thought I'd share my diagram, I've seen questions about the install come up many times and everyone just says "buy the PNP harness" which is ridiculous when the harness costs more than the unit itself! Anyway, hopefully this will help some people out.

*Note: This worked for me, I can only assume it's correct. I take no responsibility for anyone hacking up their ECU wiring. I'll be happy to answer questions, but if you can't figure out the diagram, you probably should just buy the plug and play.*

Also, Stratocaster's diagram showed the VTM wire (#10 on the blue 31 pin connector) to be Blue, mine was blue with a black stripe.

I think the logic goes a little something like this:

"Hey, you cheaped out on a hokey tuning method, why not spend the money you saved on a plug and play install rather than hacking up your wiring loom."

I mean, is your time that valueless that you can spend a few hours wiring in a VAFC and unwiring it when you sell the car?

^^^ well now that’s a bit unnecessary. It has its place in the grand scheme of things, it works flawlessly if you just need to tune WOT and vtec engagement. Not to mention how easy it is to use. Let’s not go overboard here. Now I agree the Apexi supplied harness can head to the trash

I used one before I knew any better on my 99 Si back in the day..it ran "ok".

I then upgraded to Hondata and it was NIGHT/DAY between the drive ability and what not.

It's not junk, but it's far from perfect imo.
