Default Which valve springs?

My car at the moment has a ported head on it which I intend to remove and replace with a stock Un ported head.I am going to rebuild the head using Ferrea components. My question is which Ferrea springs should I go for? The choices are the duel spring or the beehive single spring? I won't be revving beyond 9k but I do want the option of shooting for 800hp.Price isn't an issue.Thanks.

Im curious to hear this too; unfortunately, I just had to rebuild my head because the Ferrea valves went out of round and dropped my leak down numbers substantially. I have heard many arguments on valve springs, but I believe Sideways still uses OEM springs in his build. Of all the products I've used, OEM has never failed.

Really,?the reason I'm going Ferrea is because they are supposed to be pretty good.Mmmmm you've got me thinking now.The full setup is around $1000 so I would hope for them to be trouble free.

If I were you I would get the inline pro kit. The valve stem is the weak point on our heads, so inlinepro addresses this. As far as springs go the psi singles from 4piston racing are the best. Next I would say the ferrea S10010 duals or the inline pro duals.

There was another member here who also had problems with the Ferrea valves going out of round. I was using 85lb. seat springs so nothing aggressive, valve lash was inspected every 6k miles, valves were installed by the book by a very reputable shop.

Mine are being sent back to Ferrea for inspection.

I've decided I'm not prepared to take a risk with them so ill probably go for the inline pro setup.

^^^ Yes! Good answer. We have a high hp power k series SFWD car and were running Ferrea full valvetrain, then we made the switch over too. However, haven't reinspected the parts. Ferrea has us sending the parts in for inspection. If you need the parts, lmk Glen.

I would definitely use the dual springs and not the beehive. Just my personal preference for builds. Been workin for 10 years strong.
