im like 110% sure that my wiring is correct, i even looked up the ecu pinout and made sure its going to the right sensor as the instruction shows. i even took out all my wiring and had someone else wire it up. vortech said they'll test it this time and see if it works, they said the other two time they didnt even look at it. already spent 35 bucks on shipping, damn bastard

wish i had a comptech supercharger instead!

thanks again for your input guys.

I've been running fine on my blackbox since November '03. But I think it is now going south. RPM's will cut out on me and then come back online within a few seconds and it does this every 5-10 minutes. Once in awhile it will be a really bad one and the engine will shutoff as well and then the CEL will come on (CKP code). And once in awhile it will just stop revving and maintain at 3K RPM's even if I have it floored. When the engine shutsoff or I get the 3K RPM hold, I just turn ignition off then back on and everything is fine again... for the moment.

I still need to check wiring connections but I'm pretty sure its the blackbox according to other members symptoms.

I'm kinda curious if the comptech box would work for you vortech guys? The boost is about the same for 2004's, so any reason it wouldn't?

The Comptech is a ESM only, not a Timing controller. They have 2 different functions.

True, but do you REALLY need to the timing function of the vortech box? Comptech hides the boost and it works quite well, why wouldn't the same hold true for the vortech?
