So is the limit pretty much around 11-12 psi on 91 octane without meth?

its not really a limit and above 12 psi can be done without meth but not very safely.

i wouldnt rev an stock ap2 that high. its not valve float you should be concerned with, its piston side load. longer stroke typically means less revs but broader power band.

List of what im doing:
AEM meth injection 50/50
AP1 intake cam/ AP2 exhaust cam
4inch intake elbow
not sure of the pully size on order but its good for 14-15 psi. Probably 3.5/6
valve adjustment
retune
I would bring both cams if you can, it would be interesting to see if a supercharged car made more power with the AP1/AP2 combo. You supercharged guys have the benefit of exhaust scavenging still so a higher duration might not be as bad. However, you will sacrifice some CFM due to a higher overlap.

Oh, and careful with that meth. With the pressures you are talking about you should not need it on pump. I would highly recommend doing a secondary nitrous tune using it and not run it very often.

im probably going to have the redline changed from 8750 to 8500. I heard that the ap2 pistons run at the same speed at 8500 as the ap2 pistons at 9000.

Sure it can. It's all in the tune. I'm running 14psi on 91 with a comptech set up tuned at Autowave. IMO the tune is everything. That's why you want to make sure you take it to a very knowledgeable tuner like Mike at Autowave.

14 psi on a comptech with the 1000 is less power than my current setup with 11 psi. But your exactly right about Mike. I dont let anyoneelse touch my car. Autowave FTW.
