Default Vortech s/c pully question

i v done some research and i found that roughtly the vortech s/c puts out around 320 rwhp at around 9000 rpm. now if i wanted more power from that, what will i have to do? would i have to get some bigger straighter pipings for my exhaust? or maybe some pullies. iv heard that people adding more pullies get more HP is this true? any info at ur knowledge would help me very much, thank you...

oh plus i am looking to get at least 370~450 RWHP safely and reliable as possible. this is why i am going with the super charger instead of a turbo charger. because i use to own a turbo car before, and phew trust me. it will blow on u so easly, oh and could someone give me a info about NA build s2000? can it match up to the vortech super charger? if any info please direct me to it ^___^ thank you once again.....

start with the search function up top - it will save you a lot of aggrivation.

then move on to the forced induction FAQ's section and read up on some history of other people's experience.

an aftermarket exhaust will help, but don't expect the gains you're used to out of a 3" exhaust on a 4 cylinder turbo car.

400whp requires quite a bit of work with ANY kind of FI application, but it's even rarer/harder on a supercharged setup. i see that you are a new member here - are you a new s2k owner as well? most of us heavily recommend that you drive the car THE WAY IT IS NOW for a few months and then make your changes accordingly to what you feel the car needs most.

good luck.

mmm thanks for the advise but i do not own a s2k as of now, but will be getting it soon. I do have alot of experience with the s2k because of my cousin, and a whole lot of frends. but almost always use to rive my cousin's s2k around since he is married now he dont use the car too much. yes i know how the s2k handles and feels, the power is not too great imo, because due to the lack of HP in the lower RPMs. iv compaired a stcok s2k with a vortech system. i do like the vortech system, but yet im still unhappy with the power. don get me wrong, it is a quik car with the system, but i just need more HP since iv owned a 1.8t GTI with a GT28r turbo upgrade with some other extra mods like ECU, turboback exhaust, custom intake, partially built motor, got around 360 HP to the Front wheels. but with the s2k i would like to go more, and spend more. im not a fan of stock cars.. so yeah u get my point.

Well u will need some sort of engine management to get those numbers. Most use AEM EMS or Hondata is fairly new. By pulleys im sure u mean the SC pulley. keep reading and u can find a lot of info......just like stated before TAKE UR TIME, do research.

Just rev it to 20,000 or so. That should give you plenty of power.
