I'm currently in the middle of my vortech install, was thinking of what angle did you set your 90 degree fitting at (fitting attached to the oil pan that connects to the drain hose for the supercharger..) --- or does it even matter as long as its facing up? Thanks agian..

This will depend upon how long you cut that return hose. Before you lock down the final swivel fitting, see where the hose naturally wants to go, then lock it down in that orientation. Vertical is ideal but not essential. You can be off to "10 o'clock" or "2 o'clock" easily without anything bad happening.

Welding? What welding...I just place a teflon tape and tighten them up.

You can't weld the brass fittings provided to the aluminium oil pan.

The install directions provided tell you where to grind the pan for fitting clearance then drill the oil pan. You need to purchase the NPT tap that cuts the threads into the hole you just drilled.

If memory serves, the Vortech kit provided a weird looking drill bit for putting the hole in there. It's called a 9/16" Rota Broach cutter and arbor. Then you need to get a 3/8" NPT tap to make the threads.
