Default Vortech SC

I know this isn't the WTB forum. Thus I am not asking if anyone is selling one.

I was just wondering what most of you paid for yours, and what vendor sells it the cheapest. I don't care if it's Satin or Polished. I am in the market for one and need pointers on where to look! Thanks!

I just checked JEGS.com and it looked like for the Satin it was $5000 and for the polished it was $5300... I agree that you should expect to pay around $4500+ for a brand new unit. That's what I usually see them going for and that's what I paid.. Hope that helps

supercharger4less.com, they are selling satin series for $4331 shipped to your front door! I think that is a common price, but I thought their customer service was pretty good, but IDK prices are pretty similar everywhere!

www.superchargersonline.com quoted me 4560 for polished unit. i still think that's a little too much. i did some search a few days ago; in 2003 ?a group of members got their vortech (not sure polished or stain version) for 3850 shipped .

Yea, but since then in the last couple of years the demand for a supercharger for the S2000 has gone up and they know people are willing to pay out a little extra for them so they raised the prices. It's all supply and demand....

Keep checking Jegs.com. They had a blowout sale when I got mine in July.

Thanks for all the feedback! Seems like used SCs go for $3500 in the FS Forum regardless of VT or CT. I guess I'll be getting a new VT if I can save a little more!
