Thumbs up Vortech sc question. AP2 pulley on AP1 stock injec

I have a used Vortech sc on the way but it is missing some parts.

Couple questions.

Does the AP1 Vortech kit actually use an additional injector? I thought they did but he said he never had one or anything and he bought the kit brand new.

Also can I use an AP2 pulley with the vortech kit on my ap1 using stock injectors and stock vt kit besides just the pulley change?

Also is superchargers online the best place to order Vortech parts or is there a better place? I will be ordering lots of little parts shortly.
Thanks.

Oh also the seller said he did not have the 10.1 fmu or fpr but he had the 12.1
Is that an issue? Or will it work just fine?

AP2 kits only had the 5th injector in the aftercooler.

Ok cool. So can I still use the 12.1 one? Will it run super rich then?

Ok glad I don't need the injector.

How about the ap2 pulley for more boost?

I would emagine the 12.1 fpr is going to serve you better running the smaller ap2 pulley. I would want to atleast have a vafc so you can shape your fuel curve in WOT. The 12.1 Comptech fpr's run rich pre vtech to get right on the top end. Cutting fuel pre vtec is a nice option. You may run into this, but you wint know until you put it together and run it, I hope you have a wideband afr gauge to see your tune.

Not to hijack the OP's thread here but since I offered up some advice I should get one free question I have always been curios about the 5th injector set up on the Vortech's. What system do they employ with their kits to run this injector? And it is just drilled/tapped into the AC unit? Anyone have a pic of this? I am considering doing this on my CT set up is why I ask. I would like to know what drives the injector though and if its calibrated to our stock 360cc injector, or if not what size? Thanks…

Ah damn. Just sold my vafc with frog harness lol.

I am def going to run a wideband and a boost gauge as well.
Would like an oil pressure also but gauge pods seem to be for 2 gauges so doubt I will unless I find somewhere else to mount it.

You can mount a single housed gauge on your dash under the other pillar gauges, just offset it a bit if needed. They usually come with a stand if your not mounting in a pillar style. Thats what I did, looks fine to me.
