Recommend buying a wiring harness instead of directly cutting the ecu wires.

Don't neglect your tranny and diff fluid changes. Annually or every 10K to 15K miles is a good idea.

The harness is exactly what you need. You can tap into it rather then the vehicles loom. WHether or not you keep the VAFC is another issue. Some swear by it. Others, at it.

did i make the right choice as far as reliablity for my daily driver(posted thread before) and overall performance? i did have a friend of mine tell me to go with comptech and toda header, test pipe( T1r) and 3 inch exhaust for best performance. i have seen many many threads such the subject over and over. i know sideways is makin 400 horsepower or over on his vortech ( great job btw) and i know some say that the comptech is more reliable better built, and nets more rwhp stock for stock. i just looking as i said for best reliablity and performance. i have had many try and talk me into going turbo and i have said no.( no offense to the turbo guys) its just i have had too many friends with built motors car run lean suddenly and there goes loads of cash down the drain. I know the subject of comptech vs vortech performance will go on as long as there is s2000's to put them on. For the vortech users, can yall chime in as far as yalls reliablity issues are concern? i plan to drive the car with supercharger unit as it comes for a while. Comptech guys yall are more than welcome to argue or prove statics as far as why you believe comptech is a better choice. Any help appreciated!

Thanks!

I went with Comptech for 2 reasons

1. My friends run Comptech and know it in and out and are helping me with the install so I save $800+

2. Comptech is CARB legal in California for MY04 and below. Vortech is is only for MY03 and below and I didn't want to wait.

You can't go wrong either way....
