Default Vortech v3 anybody having issues with there's?

Just wondering how many out there having issues with there v3 vortech blower as in bad bearings and needing rebuilds bit to early? I know of someone who's on his 3rd and i recently sent mine back to be checked out for a 2nd time

Wondering if the self-lubricating isn't cooling the kit as efficiantly as per say the older kits that tapped the oil pan.

It has a much smaller volume of oil circulating. It's definitely not cooling as efficiently.

I ran my v3 for about 10k milies or so. Had no prob but I changed lub many times tho. Vortech says change lub every 5k milies? But I changed after long trip, every dyno tunes and few times hard pulls/race. Idk I just had nothing to do at that time .

I called Paxton in regards to upgrading the bearing in my 1200 after the one in my 1220 went out, they are able to, but it will cost for the new bearing, new case and lose the self-lube. They didn't quote me the price on the above mentioned, but if the bearing goes out in this SL I will be upgrading for certain

i hope vortech does something about this beyond their standard warranty coverage. about how many miles have people run their v3's or SOS self lube blowers before needing a rebuild? makes me hesitant to get mine installed.

IBTM (In before the Magician) Grammar police!

Theirs is a possessive pronoun.

There's is a contraction for there is or, rarely, there has. Note the apostrophe replacing the missing letter or letters.

Their's does not exist.

My Paxton 1220SL lasted 11K miles before needing a major rebuild. Plus the impeller and and some housing or part of a housing (not sure about the details) were damaged. These were replaced and was covered under warranty. I think the invoice (don't have it in front of me) stated it cost $800-900 for the repairs. Luckily it was under warranty (this time anyways).
