Votech SC installed
Hey Gys,
Finally got my polished Vortech SC installed at South Florida Performance in Miami.
All i had befor was an Injen CAI which was removed for the SC. They did 1 complimentary Dyno pull after the install and i guess for only having the SC with no upgraqded header or exhaust or tuning the RWHP numbers seemed a little low but average from what the shop tells me. I ended up with 276rwhp.
I was expecting around 285 so i was a bit disappointed.
Driving impressions:
I waited around 150miles before testing out the SC too hard and i must say its AMAZING! The new pull of the car from around 3500 all the way to redline is very noticeable and the feel and sound of the SC is perfect.
I am still trying to get used to how quickly the car now goes through the revs and anticipate the correct shift point timing before redline.
Here's my question for anyone out there who may have some insight:
The S seems to pull a lot harder than my HP indicates so i decided to check my dyno plot where i then noticed my TQ #'s seemed higher than i expected = 218 tq
are these the average tq #'s for just the sc install?
i was expecting around 180tq.
For the guys with an SC install what numbers have you been getting with no other add ons?
Thanks.

on a dynojet I put down 319hp and 195tq
Do you have anything else done besides the vortech? what was used to tune your S?
I will post my dyno sheet as soon as i get home today.
Thanks.

Sorry this is as big as my image host site will do it.
My dyno seems very strange and i cant figure it out.
The mph = 52 - i dont know what gear they dynoed it in.
The torque peaks at 218ft/lbs at around 6900rpm and falls off to nothing
I was not there when they did the dyno, but they gave me the print out.
Maybe its the wrong one.
I think i will get it dynoed again in another 200 miles when i go to get the belt re torqued.
The difference in the car is amazing though
This is a pic before the SC, i will post a new one soon.
