Default vtec cable

Hi guys,

I would like to inform me about the vtec cable command. I searched arround the service manual but unfortunatelly i weren't able to locate this damn cable within the engine bay. I need it to activate an extra injector when the car goes into vtec to help my a/f ratio from going lean with my VTSC setup.

Thanks a lot

It runs parallel to your muffler bearings.

Ok here's a non smart-ass answer:

at the engine speed and throttle position programmed into the computer's memory map a signal is sent which electronically opens a spool valve, which then directs oil pressure to a mechanical sliding pin. This pin locks the rocker arms actuating the valves to the follower on the high-rpm cam lobe.

I'm guessing this is a facetious question since your a gold member, so, do I get a cookie for the answer?

Are you referring to the wiring for the VTEC solenoid?

He just wants to the wires. Its a completely legitimate question. Just trace the vtec wire from the solenoid on the front left side of the block.
