Default VTEC oil pressure switch with AEM EMS

So everyone knows, the VTEC oil pressure switch that sticks off the VTEC solenoid can be removed if you are using the EMS. The EMS doesn't need this and adjusts VTEC by engine load, rpm, and speed. I took mine off this weekend and re-used the rubber o'ring with a large head bolt and washer and just plugged the hole. VTEC still works exactly the same and no issues.

Enjoy.

I just pulled it back and layed it on the other wires/wire loom and ran electrical tape around it to secure it.

AS far as using it as an oil pressure guage. I think that you would get a more accurate PSI indication from the block.

What was the size of the Head bolt you used? Would be good to know so I can plug the hole with the right size.

I took the sensor to the auto store to match up the threads and if I remember right, it was an 8 or 10 1.25 with a large head.
