I just got around to install KPro. If this sensor is disabled is it ok to remove it and use the location as an oil feed line? I like working with this location rather than the traditional oil pressure sensor. Ease of access.
Yes. I'm using that location as the oil feed for my turbo. I'm using a 10x1.25--> -3AN banjo bolt (since my manifold sits so close):
Is there always a consist amount of oil pressure from that location

Nope it fluctuates with rpm. Plus it can starve the head.

While there is always oil pressure at that location, it's actually variable. I believe Carey (Bales) measured the exact pressure at idle, but I don't recall the number, specifically.

What kind of headaches?? I have been using that port as the turbo oil feed now for about 50k miles and really havn't had any serious headache. Where do you recommend I go to get oil for the turbo?

I have put this on the "to do" list though. That sensor looks nasty.

Is your turbo still in one piece?

Ya. She runs good. I am running a journal bearing GT35. Where should I be getting oil from?

Wouldn't hurt to get it from the block, either T the oil sending unit or use a sandwich plate

I switched over to a CTSC setup, and by default it feeds the supercharger from the vtec oil port. this is bad?

That's what has me curious. Idk what options my manifold will give me. It's a similar mani to the afi and full race. If its available and my feed line will reach it then it willbe a no brainer.
