ok so i just installed my vtsc on my ap1. it's a 00. i'm running the black box and the map controller. now the problem. when i first started the car it had a CEL. was in a limp mod. wouldnt go past 3k, i un hook the map controller and hook the wire back together and it revs past 3k but with a CEL still. when u drive the car there is no power. it falls on it's face. i've been going over and over my wiring and everything is right. as far as i know. i need help please. if anyone is loc in va beach that would like to give a helping hand also that would be great. thanks

 

did you pull the codes to find out what they were? That would be helpful.

Recheck the wires, also is the kit new/used?

 

The kit is used. Have not pulled code yet. Will do it in a couple hours.

 

the code was a mis fire but i don't think that is the problem. i am thinking it's in the black box i am just going to pull the box out and get it tuned. the bank is running kinda low how is the greddy e manage?

 

I like my EMU, but I don't have a SC yet to comment on their combination.

 

problem found. thanks for the help thought i was going to have to spend another 1000 tonight thank goodness i didn't i can wait. well i started to go back over my wiring again. round 4. wanted to see if the board was messed up on the box. opened it up. and there it was broken wire. repaired the wire and have boost. thanks for the help guys. now i'm part of the sc club.
