I got a 4" ASP pulley made, which I thought would make 12.5-13lbs of boost at 9krpm. But it only made 10lbs. Whatever though. Its an extra thirty whp for a hundred bucks.

Its on a very conservative tune. I still wanna be able to drive it from Virginia Beach to DC. So I could have made more, but Id like to stay reliable and not push it too much.

what engine management did you use?

 

I have a vortech and got the same pulley and it 2 only gave me 10lbs. I went smaller

this is my 10 psi on evans dyno pack, which he claim it reads just like dyno jet, but i think maybe a little bit more, stock ap1 put down some where around

 

I am running the 1052 AEM EMS.


What size pulley did you go with in the end of it all? And what was the boost you got out of it. Im guessing a 3.5" would give me the 13lbs I want.

 

what supercharger/management/accessories were you using? Ive never seen 400whp on 10psi whether it be turbo or SC. Are you using meth and really advanced timing?

 

vortech v3 tuner kit comes with big front heat exchange for the after cooler..

stock headers. 70MM test pipe 70mm T1R v3 single exhaust.
stock everything els..

i can get 15 more if i have a better header. . a little more with a throttle body . a little bit more with a 3 inch exhaust..
K-pro dual ecu..

 

Hmm. Well, im not hating. Mad props! Im guessing its the combination of the newer kit, newer car and maybe a more aggressive tune. But thats awesome!

Im running the exact same exhaust. Well, I guess I will just have to keep at it. Up the boost and have some fun

 

the tuned it's not aggresive at all...

it's all on the safe n more fuel efficient side... i got lot better milege with 75-80MPH highway cruise..

 

Hmmm, well man, I wish I had that 400whp. But I will make it there sooner or later. Thanks for the inspiration. (though with the FI bug biting my ass I dont need much motivation )
