Default Walbro 400 not e85 compatible?

I've been looking into the walbro 400 for my setup and read that they are not e85 compatible as they do not spin fast enough to provide the addiquit flow. They are coming out with a new 470 that will. Anyone have more info on this?

Well for one thing you can wire a walbro directly to the battery which provides more voltage and thus a bit more flow. I don't know about the 400 units limitations in relation to E85 but I know most the people I know are running DUAL setup.

I believe most pumps say they are not e85 compatitible. But there should not be any issue with flow.

yeah im not running dual...its too much for me at this point to change everything out to run. Yeah I know a few people on here are running a 400 and also running E85. I guess since I am not putting it in the car until the end of summer I can wait to see if the new one comes out.

Aeromotive 340 is E85 compatabile and it will get you to your power goals with a boost a pump. A friend of mine is making over 600whp with this setup on E85. His name is "shiftat9k"

I have an aeromotive 340lph pump on my car making 546 whp on E-85. My tuner didn't want to go any higher on power because I was starting to run out of fuel on the top end.
