Default Want to change manifold

I'm currently running an inlinepro stage 1 kit. I want to switch from the logmount to a tubular manifold. My question is do I need all new intercooler piping or just the manifold side piping? or if I could even keep the turbo I have? I'm fairly new to the boost scene so I apologize if this a dumb question.

just manifold side piping (most likely going to need to be changed/modified, very unlikely that it will fit otherwise)

yes you can keep turbo as long as the manifolds are the same (t3 or t4)

I figured I would be able to keep the turbo , just wanted to be sure. Thanks for the info about the piping. Another question I have is will there be any power differenceor need for a re-tune? I thought ive read something somwhere that a logmount doesn't give as much power as a tubular running the same boost.

if you don't want to blow your engine/risk blowing your engine, yes you will need a retune

If you go with the IP tubular its a T4 manifold, so your turbo would not fit, not sure if they offer an option for T3
some good alternatives are Ptuning, Pfab, full race, full blown etc

a ram horn bottom mount t3 manifold would be ur best bet bc the piping would line up pretty nicely with little to no modification, and yes u need a retune

Never saw a ram horn bottom mount before. Ill look into it. What I'm aiming to do is just bring the turbo into the engine bay and out of a heat enclosed area. Ill be getting my hood vented soon as well to reduce heat.

also the pfab top mount wouldnt require much work with your ic piping. pang sold me my hot side piping for $250 and it all fit pretty good.

retune for sure. I went from the mase kit to pfab and i kept my turbo and i still need a retune
