Default Wastegate hitting engine mount bracket

Finally almost got the entire kit on the last problem I am having is that I can't see to get the waste gate on as the air fitting on top is crashing with the metal passenger mount. Manifold is a full blown log manifold and the wastegate is a tial F38. Only the air fitting is crashing so is there another option of a smaller air fitting or is there a trick for this?

Are you using the supplied banjo fitting? If so, it's going to be difficult to find a solution that has a lower profile. Can you post a pic?

Considering cutting off the piece in the red so its more of a tighter fit. Sorry for the terrible quality pics an iphone was the only thing I could fit in there.

So the air fitting has clearance, but the wastegate housing is touching? I would shave/cut the engine mount to gain enough clearance.

Your using a older style gate. There kit might have been created with the newer one. I had the same problem with mine. I have the kings kit and had to cut and shave my mount till i get something else.

You could shave the stock mount down a bit.

I recently had a similar issue, the hotside of my turbo was hitting the mount. I bought the Hasport motor mounts to gain clearance.

These mounts would give you the clearance you need if you didn't want to shave the OEM mount

shaved the mount and gave the wastegate a little love tap with a mallet to go in place. Loaded up the start up map and everything seems to be running fine for now. Ill run it with the shaved mount for now but in the future I plan to eventually order the Hasport motor mount.

The motor moves though. Is there enough room for when the motor torques back and forth?
