^^^This is what I think. Its to prevent from pooling in our intake when not in use, which is bad news. But if your fluid and pump location makes it impossible for gravity to work then no worries. It clearly states in the directions to make sure these are mounted lower then your intake.

You can have it read through the aem serial gauge. Jeff set mine up yesterday after my tune with him.
What did you use, did you have to buy the gauge and sensor, and then he just used the aem serial gauge instead of setting up the extra gauge?

I never installed a check valve. But the kit I got a couple of years ago never came with one, so I didn't worry about it.

I haven't noticed any issue because of this.

I didn't buy anything extra. I was already using the aem serial gauge and Jeff figured some way to make the gauge show when the meth system was flowing. I'm sure if you ask him he'll let you know.

the controller on the kit already has the 0-5v output (blue wire). I'm pretty sure that's what we used.

i thought you had a flow gauge? the controller on the aem kit doesnt measure flow in the line as far as i know.

No flow gauge needed. It's not going to show the exact cc's being flowed but, i forget the conversion we used, it will show when the system is flowing up to when it is at peak flow.

I personally think it's better than having to add another gauge, that's why I like the serial gauges.

u realize thats making the assumption that when the controller says its spraying, ITS ACTUALLY SPRAYING.

thats why a flow gauge t'd into the actual supply line will be 100% accurate.
