went to the dyno yesterday
well, i went to the dyno yesterday. and just as the title says, im slightly disappointed and have a little work to do before i go back. luckily the car didnt blow up or anything bad like that.... but heres the specs of the day

engine specs:
-cp pistons 9:1
-sleeved block. 0.50 over bore
-BC dual core valve springs
-BC titanium retainers
-stock cams
-cosworth headgasket
-acl bearings
-ACT clutch

turbo setup:
-precision 6169SP
-pfab log manifold
-turbonetics evolution wastegate
-fmic
-GM MAP sensor
-880cc injectors
-AEM EMS 1052U
-fjo injector driver
-NGR BOV
-2.5 downpipe
-3" test pipe and invidia exhaust
-aem uego and tru boost
-coolingmist methanol injection 50:50 mix

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
so anyway, the tuner could only get the turbo to make it up to 14psi bc the wastegate spring is too soft and the tru boost couldnt hold it closed anymore.
next i had issues with an injector leaking.... after fixing that, we realized that they apparantly sputtering a bit at high rpm which caused it to studder a little causing a little issue.
i was REALLY wanting 400hp at minimum but sadly i couldnt make it past 343hp on the dyno dynamics dyno at the end..... which luckily reads quite low compared to some other dynos.... so i guess it isnt horrible. but he recommended i replace the wastegate spring and get new injectors and come back for another tune. also im thinking of adding a second injector to the methanol bc he said he wasnt seeing much difference when the methanol was kicking in.... so i guess im not injecting much.
i was just a little curious of what you guys think about all this and if i can actually reach my goals with the adjustments that im working on.

im pretty sure its injecting right. i know for sure that we went through almost a half gallon of meth while tuning. i guess i could get the larger injector if thats all i need to compensate. when i ordered the kit from them, they sent me 2 injectors but i only hooked up one. and they asked me how much power i planned to make when i ordered the meth kit so they would know what injector to send. idk if they wanted me to use both or if they sent both injectors for me to choose different sizes. but whatever was written on the bag was smeared off.... all i could tell was whate seemed to be an 8 and a 10 written on each of the bags.... so i went with the 10.
i wasnt expecting ungodly numbers off of a log manifold and small downpipe, but i was hoping for at least 400. which they did explain that the dyno dynamics is usually roughly 13 to 15% lower reading than something like a dyno jet.... so i guess that would have me close to 400 on a dyno jet but i still should have more.

you have a low compression motor and a log manifold, so most likely you are going to need more psi than a stock engine guy to make good power.
i'd say get the wastegate spring fixed first, get some good injectors, then go back before doing anything else; you don't want to complicate it too much further.
wait...does cosworth make an oem thickness headgasket? or do you have low compression pistons and a thicker hg?

Actually it runs pretty well. Its got waay more power at bottom end than I ever imagined the car cud have. So its very driveable for daily driving. But I have noticed that around vtec engagement, it has a bit of a sputter but it deffinitely pulls hard. the tuner (sharif of forged performance) said that the injectors were causing issues bc they weren't always running right. At first he thought my plugs were blowing out spark... but then he realized it was the fuel
