I have the Tial BOV and it has the "gobbling turkey" sound, as some people here have said in the past. Kind of a "gobble-gobble-gobble-pssshhhh" sound.

 

That's what I have and I love the way it kinda chirps and whistles; sounds really cool.

 

I've used an HKS old school racing bov...forgot the model...that sounded nice, just a nice rush of air

and I've also used a turbo X's...same thing, just a nice release of air....

Tial has a nice whip crack sound to it...I've heard plenty of those...

I hate the high pitched whistling you hear on some bov's such as the RFL and what not......

I thought the Turbo XS RFL did a big "PSSSHHHHH". I know Blitz makes one that sounds like that as well, a buddy of mine had one on his 3000GT VR4.

 

I think tial sounds the best IMO. Just a very violent WOOOOSH sound that sounds very mean. You won't hear it from a mile away, but I love the way it sounds. Its not annoying, just violent.

 

I like my Vortech BOV fine.just wish it was a little louder.

 

Get a vented hood and it'll be louder.

 

what if i upgrade the boost?wouldn't it get louder?
