What could be wrong with my car?

I had misfire issues running 30 psi on copper 8 heat range plugs with e85, but when I switched to the iridium 8 heat range it went away. Both types were gapped around .018" btw. I would assume you running 9 heat range could be the issue, especially in colder air temps. I bet that may be the trouble. Stick with the iridiums and go with 8's and see what it does. I believe iridiums work much better; at least with mine.

I have the Kenne Bell Boost a spark, I should just turn it all the way up. I presume it just increases the voltage to the coil packs, I can't imagine turning it up has any negative effects? (Il research before I do it, but does anyone know?)

Maxing it out increases the voltage to 20v to the coils, that excessive?

The boost a spark is good but will burn out the coils over time . It will put around 20 volts to the coils at its max setting . Are you running a Hobbs switch or rpm activation ? The Hobbs switch is better . A .025 is a pretty big gap but its not over the top . An 8 heat range is all you need for youre power level . Again i would change the plugs out and run a smaller gap . If you still have issues crank up the boost a spark and see what happens . Good luck !

I use same 8 spark plugs and same gap as you no boost a spark.

It's off a Hobbs switch. I went back to new copper plugs gapped to .22/.23, I'll take her out in the morning for a few highway pulls and see how it does.

Well, I put in new copper plugs gapped down to .22ish and the car ran great, did a few highway pulls and car fealt really strong with no hiccups. I dont know if the .03 difference in the gap of the Iridiums was it, but car just did not like em.

For the love of GOD give me one more 60F day so I can hit up the track one more time
