What exhaust are you Ptuning kit owners running?

Default What exhaust are you Ptuning kit owners running?

Like the title says, what exhaust are you ptuning kit owners running? I have a Berk headerback with resonator that I can't use with the kit so I'm looking into possibly the HKS single or Berk catback but I don't want anything crazy loud. I know volume comes with larger diameter but just want to see what others are doing.

I run the Ptuning 3" single exhaust. Really quite exhaust, I was pleasantly surprised. You do not have to buy the Ptuning test pipe ($199) to be able to install with the other brand exhaust system. If you can get this exhaust, it will beat out the rest, in terms of performance and noise.

They don't sell their exhaust anymore.

I had a custom catback made from a friend. Labor, materials, all said and done cost me $500. 3" vband flange connected to the p-tuning downpipe, 3" magnaflow muffler mid car, then a vibrant ultra quiet resonator was used at the rear with a 3" pie cut turn down tip. It's the best sounding exhaust I've heard on a turbo s.

Custom 3 inch single exhaust is always the best way to go. I have a hks carbon ti 3 inch muffler with two vibrant resonators. Custom 3 inch piping with vband clamps. This exhaust is not loud.

^^^^ that's a really nice exhaust! I'm rocking the Ark 63mm n2 dual. Restrictive for sure, but still made 450 at 15psi. I have the Ptuning adapter testpipe.

I would think any 3" would work well for any turbo S2000. InlinePro makes a nice one still.

Dude that is sexy. May need to find a welder and go that route. I don't want to hack up my Berk. I'm guessing you aren't running the restrictor plate or 3inch test pipe?

Thanks man. Nope no test pipe or any of that other stuff. Just the p-tuning downpipe. Then just what you see in the pics from the downpipe back. Find a fabricator and make them your new best friend... Trust me on that lol. EVERYTHING custom! Cheaper and better than a lot of what's on the market.

Are you running a flex pipe anywhere on your setup? From what I can see, there isn't one. Think I've decided on running a Magnaflow 14ich oval muffler in the middle and Magnaflow muffler w/tip out the back.
