^^^ It's also depends on what dyno was used to dyno the car too. Always keep that in mind.

2nrwerks did one w/a 9lb pully and we got 340-360whp. so yea w/ a stock pully you should be at 300-320whp

I was talking to a local guy and he told me to get the Vortec because the comptech unit loses 1 psi after adding the aftercooler....

Then said that I can't just put a 7 psi pulley on there, because i'll need an ems. ..... Does this sound right? He seems to know what he's talking about, howeve ri'm just looking for confirmation.

people adding the AC often upgrade the pulley without needing the ems.

this shouldnt really be the deciding factor of which supercharger you choose to go with...

i chose to go with comptech because it's a bit easier to install.

but as we discussed before, 7psi seems to be as high as you can before you max out the injectors. you dont need to run EMS, just turn up the dial on the FPR and you should be good to go. i dont know if this is the same case for the vortec unit though, you should ask xviper.

the only thing to do after, is to bring the car into a tuner soon after to make sure you have a good a/f.
