S2000 Forced Induction S2000 Turbocharging and S2000 supercharging, for that extra kick.

What gauges to get for SC car?

Just wondering if there was a dual or even triple gauge pillar pod available for the s2000?

I know the DEFI gauges are awesome but I'm just trying to imagine where to put them in the car.

Where are some places to put gauges?

I have not heard of a triple gauge pod. However I do have a dual gauge pod for the a-pillar sitting in my tool box right now.
Personally I think gauges on the a-pillar stick out just a tad bit to far, but thats just a personal opinion.

For three gauges I ended up with two in the a-pillar and one mounted just about the start button.

If I were you, I'd seriously look at the heads up display from Defi. Get all the information displayed in an easy line of sight display.

Setting display thresholds and alarms with the Defi setup is very easy, viewing peak values for all gauges at any time ... and you can also record and playback. Peak values and threshold (high & low) are most valuable IMO.

msm_s2k: Thanks so much for the picture - that's exactly what I was visualzing for the gauge pod and now I can see why a triple gauge pod is too much - I forgot how short the s2k pillar was....hahaha

I had to think for a sec to remember what used to be in that location where you put the third gauge - VERY creative

Those Defi gauges are awesome - we've used those gauges in a fully built Audi TT once and daisy chaining them with that controller was as a cinch once it was wired up.

Probably go for for either the exact setup you have or maybe I'll look into this Defi Heads up thingy (less clutter)

I can't take credit for the location of the 3rd gauge. That was a tip from someone here on S2KI.

I may add the HUD in the next week or so. If I do, I'll let you know how well it works.

Most important to least important

1.wideband AF ( keeps the rings and pistons happy)

2.EGT ( Make sure your not melting down on long highway runs, EGT's can run high on a S2000 because of the overlap of the cams)

3.Oil pressure ( I have see lots of pump failures , and bad bearings)

4.Boost ( more important on a turbo than a supercharger * superchargers don't creep*)

5. oil and water temp

This link tells you all it will show:
http://www.boomplustoys.net/apex.shtml

There are 4 buttons, each one can show real time readouts or the max reading so far in that particular drive. One button is dual reading, giving voltage and vehicle speed. Since I have a Passport radar detector that gives system voltage and I'm not really interested in a duplicate of the speedo, I don't use that button or have it hooked up to monitor voltage.
