Default What needed for 9lb pulley on Comptech

Am getting a Comptech SC and a Spearco front mount aftercooler. I was also thinking of getting the 9lb pulley but am wondering what else I need. I have a VAFC, and see 550 injectors for sale right now. Will this be enough? thanks

You will need larger injectors but you will also need an e-manage or stand alone ECU. I don't think the VAFC will do the job. I have a 9 pound pulley sitting in my garage as well I just need to save up for injectors and an emanage.

Do a search for Greddy E-manage and AEM EMS. I'm not sure on the prices. I'm would guess that the e-manage would go for $500 and the AEM would be around $1700.

The e-manage is a piggy-back unit which means you will have to retain your stock ECU. Much like the VAFC. The AEM EMS on the other hand replaces your stock ECU so you no longer need it. The AEM is more powerful in that you have total control over your cars ECU.

hopefully that helps.

Emanage could be have for $330 USD in Taiwan, I am not sure how much you guys get in states. Emanage support tool($100 USD +/-), ignition and injector harness is extra. however, you could run the wire your own to replace injector harness.

I have an EManage that I havent got around to installing yet.

I have, injector, ignition, and pressure sensor harnesses. Get the software to. VTEC frog also has a emanage harness so you dont have to chop up your stock ecu wires, I still need one of those.

I have 550cc RC injectors that are relatively new. I bought them off a local member and decided that I'm not going to go with a larger pulley (I am going with EMS, though). RC part number is PL8-550. I also have the clips. PM me if any of you are interested.
