Default What Octane per whp figures

SOS says to run 100+ or E85 over 375whp.

B4 my last tune I was still at 360whp. Now I'm at 420's; I'm running 92 Shell. Now that my waste gate leak is fixed, I'm getting ready to turn it up and re tune.
What's everyones opinion on safe octane ratings and running. I can mix or use concentrate.
Ex. Whp/trq figures with what octane rating, please don't respond with anything E85 I can't get it.

My curiosity comes from this.
is there any truth to this? my buddy's dbw 06+ dyno tuned to 460 something with a FF manifold style kit. He baselined the other day after a couple months lata from dyno and it was much lower. (Go figure different dyno, different day) but it was a big difference. Could the knock sensor have dumbed that tune down if it had a back tank of gas and knocked?
I wanna tune on something around 98-100 Oct and when I'm on pump 92 just keep it below 4k rpm dd'ing being out of boost. Is this at all possible?

Just max out the tune on 92 "safely". Ive seen people hit 400-450 on 91 here in socal. But anything beyond that is scary on straight pump. If the S is your dd id imagine it would suck not to be able to get on it when you want/need depending on what gas you have in it. And race gas is hard to buy, stock, etc id avoid that altogether unless you have personal reasons to hit peak numbers.

if u want most power u can do e85. I have seen over 100whp difference in fuel alone when going from 91 (which is wat I have up here in NorCal) to e85. Cons on e85: hard to find. U burn thru gas quickly. It's hard to cold start ur car.
If u can do flex fuel. That's the best option

I'm in so Cali on 91 octane and can only get to 360whp....
Was tuned by Mike at autowave at 12psi with a lot of timing pulled out. Would love to hit 400 but my07 fuel system might not be up for it.

SOS sells the return kit. Its a very straight forward install and mostly oem parts. Dbw fuel pressure drops drastically 6k rpm and up.
