Default What tires do you turbo folks run?

I just ordered a sidewinder manifold with a garrett gt3582r turbo.. In planning this build I will need to upgrade these tires in the rear. I have RPF1s that are 17x9 in the rear... What tires do you recommend and what size? I know this is more of a tire question but I feel this subforum would have better feedback. Thanks in advance!

My only experience has been with Mickey Thompson ET Streets on my camaro and civic si. From what I can tell they don't offer a tire that fits

I run 255 bridgestone re01r on my rpf1s and am around 500whp. Have to feather first and the rest of the gears hook well. Does spin second once the temps get down below 50-60 degrees.

The initial setup i want to be around 400whp. After that I plan to build the motor in phases.. So I can't give you an exact amount in the end.

Running a 400whp SC. I run rpf1 also, but I have my rears custom widened to 11.5" wide with the Kumho XS 295/35/17's. They are one of the best dry grip tires I’ve ever run that is in a non R comp and doesn’t compromise handling (if this is a concern) they suffer bellow 50 degrees and in the wet so you have to play nice in these conditions. You wont find a lighter wheel/tire package in this width either.

More information please. I would not mind doing that to mine. Did you start with 17x9+45? Thats what I am running on all 4.

How much does it cost to have wheels widened? lets say AP2 V1's for example
