Default What tires are you running?

Hey guys. I'm curious to what tire setups you are running or what recommendations you might have for me. Drag, time attack, auto-x setups. Let me hear them all. I'm currently running 245/40-17s Dunlop ZIIs on a 17x9 wheel and they aren't cutting it for me. I'm only making a little over 420 to the wheels, launch control set at 5k.

I just ordered Continental DW's (not the DWS's). I'll let you know how they do once mounted. I've heard good things about the Nitto NT01 and 05 for straight line performance.

I currently have Dunlop Z1 star specs in 255/40/17. I was thinking that 255/40/17 hankook RS3 would be a better option since they have softer sidewalls but are still great if not the best autox/road racing street tires available.

I'm about to buy Mickey Thomson et drag radials in 275/40/17 for driving to and from the drag strip.

I run 295/35/17 kumho xs for the street on 17x11.5+63 rpf1

17x9.5 rpf1 on 255/40/17 Hankook Ventus RS-3`s with 500whp and boost by speed hooked pretty well. From a launch at 5500rpm 1st is worthless as expected, 2nd is mostly spinning but gains traction up high, 3rd is a slight spin and then hook. From a roll the same applies... 3rd gear roll in the 50mph range and boost by speed giving me full power at 90mph I got 100% traction. 2nd gear roll around 30mph I believe I saw around 10psi and that would still spin pretty hard then start gripping fully when I shift to 3rd. I will be getting a set of weld 15x9.25" and rocking some 26x10 ET Streets or M&H racemaster drag radials this season and pray to the car gods I can get traction on the street with minimal boost by speed assistance. lol

I'm running 255/40r17 nitto nt555 on ap2v'1s they hook up very well not bad in rain if your easy on it and they are cheap. Looking to upgrade to some much wider rims and tires but it looks like I'm going to have to get over flares to make it work. I'm Also looking for recommendations

245/45R/16 Potenza RE-11's here.

Not boosted yet, but I'm expecting a fair bit of wheel spin and traction issues with these... lol.
