Default Whats wrong with my Engine?

I was in 3rd gear and took it to redline and then I shifted to 4th, but the clutch pedal

stayed stuck too the floor and I kept flooring it (1-2sec) before I noticed the clutch

pedal was stuck (thought I misshifted at first). I slap it in to neutral as fast as could

then the car turned off. So I moved over to the shoulder, and alot white smoke was

spewing out the exhaust. Then I treid to crank it over and the car wont start. When

I try to crank it up it just makes a click click click noise as if it was a low battery

I've check oil, and it didn't look milky to see if it was a blown head gasket. Ive also

rotated the crank around and it moved freely so I dont think the engine is seized. I

am about to check my plugs and pull the oil pan to make sure I mechanically over

rev the engine while I was still flooring it with the clutch pedal stuck.

Any one have any Idea what the problem could be? Broken retainer, dropped valve,

spun a rod bearing? I know my car isn't FI but it seems like yall are more better at

diagnosing problems like this.

thx.

You can't over rev the engine with the throttle. The OEM ECU has an ignition cutout just past redline. Over revs only happen mechanically, when you go to change up a gear but accidentally change down instead.

where was the smoke coming from? Exhaust its most likely coolant. Clutch doesn't feed into the exhaust system.

well it might be coolant, usually if there is coolant on the plugs it will just crank and crank, then finally turn over, with a plume of burning coolant.

This is what I experience with my blown HG anyway

I have an AP1 motor with head on an engine stand in my garage. Let me know if interested.
