Default wheel and tire setup for 500whp

I know this is probably out there somewhere but I can't find it. All I see on here is a bunch of people posting slammed, crazy camber, and stretched tires so im posting here. I currently have my car tuned to 350hp and I am getting it turned up to 500+hp. I am currently on stock ap2v2 wheels and continental dw tires that have 2/32 left, and stock shocks with skunk2 lowering springs (1" drop) so im looking for new a wheel/tire setup. I want to get m/t et streets for the rear. I have the stock springs to raise it back up if needed. So my questions are

1. What offset should I have for a 275/40R17 WITHOUT having a crazy camber, tire stretch, and not having crazy tire poke.

2. Who make wheels with said camber for no more than $300 a wheel

3. What wheel/tire setup are you using for 500+hp

I mainly do roll racing but dont want to have tires breaking loose at 35-40mph.

I'm currently running Enkei PF01SS squared in 17x90 +60 255/40/R17 without any issues. I think you could mount 275's on the rear without too much issue as long as you aren't slammed (I'm lowered on Tein S Springs). Wheels can be purchased for well under $300 from TireRack.com

If you want the best strait line traction available from what ever tire you run, no rear camber is is the way to do it. Even at stock ride height though im not sure if that's possible, but you can get close. Less tire pressure then you would normally run to get more squat, sidewall flex and tire surface on the ground is another technique. Basically everything that makes your car handle like shit is how to go about maximizing strait line traction.

You need to do what I did. For ultimate straight line traction do what I did and widen you wheels but run 275/40/17 drag radials.
This can all be done on a stock body with out even rolling the fenders. If you want to go all out you can run over fenders and run a 17x12 with an offset of +50-60 and run 315/35/17's

For a 275/40/17 you want to run a 17x10 or 17x10.5 with an off set of about +65-73. I'm currently running a 17x10.5 +67 and the 275/40/17 fit perfect on my non rolled stock body fenders.

I cannot stress how much of a huge difference this made for both straight line traction for drag racing and even for traction when at the auto cross compared to my old 255/40/17 rs3's. Before when boost came on in first gear I would loose traction every time. The 17x10.5 wheels with 275/40/17 nt05 completely solved that issue.

After my 275/40/17 nt05s were down I'm throwing these bad boys on. 295/35/17 kumho xs. They fit perfect on the stock body.

I'm actually doing quite fine on 255/40-17, as long as it's going straight forward at least. Federal RS-R 595 tyres. Work very well. Slight wheelspin maybe in 1st gear, but good traction from 2nd on dry asphalt. Of course if I want it to, or if the asphalt is wet or simply very fine/slipery, I can get the tyres to spin in 4th... I have been considering 275/40-17, but think they look really big!

17" Enkei PF01 and 255's Dunlop z1 tires on the rear. Bought from tire rack. 430-450whp. No problems so far, but would like to put 275's. Also roll racing... Setup wasnt too expensive.

i would switch to a smaller diameter wheel and add more sidewall to the tire... i run 275/50/15s and hook with 600-700hp
