Where do you like your guages?
Im well underway in completing my turbo setup, and all I really have left to do is mount various guages.
Oil pressure, Coolant temp(EMS, wont work w/stock guage), and Boost are my three guages of choice.
The problem Im running into is where to put them all? I generally hate the standard A piller mounting system, eSPEcially all 3 guages, but it looks like Im SOL?
Another option is mount the boost guage on the steering column, then the other two on the pillar, but this involves custom bezels(not really a problem, just time consuming).
The only OTHER option I can think of is right on top of the dash, above the stereo. This would be great if you didnt have to drill holes in the dash. Thats all we need, used S2000's for sale w/holes in all the dashes from removed guages
Let me see some opinions, pictures!

I agree, I dont know where to put my gauges either. The rick's are nice but big$$$$, not worht it for gauges. I wanted to put 2 on the steering column but it blocks the speed. It seems the simple thing is to use the a-pillar, but I hate that.

I dont know about you, I use the cup holder but the side radio isnt a bad idea. I kinda liked that feature also. I was thinking that if I used a dash mounting pod, I may be able to mount them up top- under where the top meets the glass. Im not too sure it even can be done- havent looked into it yet.

I just decided to program the EMS to blink the CEL at 235 deg, then use the two pillar pods for oil pressure and boost. Itll work for now, till I figure out something more suitable.
On a side note, got her running tonight! Just dry revving yields around 4psi on the boost ticker. Properly sized ball bearing turbos rock

I've had them behind the radio door, which looked fine, but they where hard to read while driving. I also had the boost gauge in the audio mode switch housing, which was pretty easy to read.

Check the electronics forum. Modifry has developed a device that allows use of the stock coolant temp gauge for all 00-03 S2000's.

I did see the Modifry converter...but for $75 I can have a nice guage thatll tell me exactly where Im at anyway. I think Ive decided on using the Audio mode controller spot, as I dont think Ive ever used that anyway.
