Like is says I'm looking for somebody that knows pauter rods a guy i know picked these up for his build few years back but.never ran.them

So im looking at picking them up
But question is what style pauter rods.are these ? What beam are they H,I,X,

look like x beam rods to me, x beam is top of line for pauter. about the best off the shelf steel rod available for the s2k in my opinion...until manley makes their turbo tuff rod for the s2k engine

We made 907whp on them and I would have no problem making more. Only other rods I would use may ve Carrillo at that level.

I wouldnt run a steel rod past 800-900 hp.. you'll start busting bearings out and bending rods if you even get the smallest amount of detonation at that power level.

Yes those pictured are X Beam pauter rods, and retail for $750-$850.

Depends on the setup I suppose. For a street car running 700-800hp daily I think steel is the way to go. Warm up times, and long term fatigue on aluminum are not ideal for a street car.
