Default Why no jackson racing SC for the S?

Im sure this has been beat to death somewhere, but with the wonderful search here I could not find anything.

Last year I had a JRSC SI that made 250 at the wheels, Im sure with one on an S we could get 75-100

There aren't that many S2000s out there and Comptech and Vortech have that market sewn up. Why would Jackson bother to develop a kit only to procure a few more sales? CT and VT kits already make around 300 whp. And now that the Turbo kits are gaining in popularity, no new supercharger development is worth the time.

If I remember correctly they had a hard time getting the roots blower to work with our cars. I believe thats what I read some time back on here. I may be wrong though. The comptech/vortech s/c will add 100 to the wheels as well so we're definetly not lacking in terms of power adders

Unless Jackson could either produce a kit that provided bigger gains than Vortech and Comptech or undercut their prices dramatically (with the same quality and durability and whatnot as the CT and VT), there's no point in them going to the trouble of developing a kit for the S anymore. Jackson would have to one-up them somehow.

Biggest problem with the "bolt to block" jacksons is I don't think there's any way to mount an intercooler.

Actually, in the case of the S2000 they are way more. So much more that they can't afford to make them.

And since they don't actually have one for an S2000, how is this comparison valid? It is not a secret that an S2000 is somewhat more complicated to boost than other types of vehicles.

As "fperra" just alluded to, the S2000 is not a typical car you can use such comparisons on.
