Default Wideband and O2 Sensor.

Not sure if this goes in Engine management or F/I. So mods, move if need be.

I had an Innovate LC1 Wideband/Gauge hooked up into my turbo down pipe. The down pipe has 2 bungs. One for the Primary O2 sensor and one for the Wideband sensor. The secondary O2 sensor is plugged into the test pipe.

I'm changing to a supercharger setup with KPro so I'm going back to the stock header. The problem is that the stock header only has one bung for the primary sensor. Can I replace either the Primary or Secondary sensor with the wideband sensor? Will doing this ruin the accuracy of the AFR reading? Also, will doing this pass/fail emissions?

To avoid the extra downtime and cost, I want to avoid having a bung welded to the stock header.

You only need the primary O2 with Kpro to pass emissions and to run in closed loop.

You can run without narrowband sensor with Kpro as well- right off map

To run both, you only need two bungs. (heh-heh, two bungs) That is, put the primary in the test pipe, wideband in the header... secondary can be removed

EDIT:not sure about Flash Pro if that's what you have.

Ok then here's a noob question. How can I make the primary o2 sensor reach the test pipe? Is there an adapter/extension I use?

the LC-1 you can run it in place of your primary. It has a wire the you can splice in to send the ecu a signal. I did this for awhile when I was NA on the stock ecu.

I'm confused now. From what I see from the 2nd post, it sounds like I have to move the primary sensor (header) into the secondary sensor location (cat / testpipe). And then put the LC1 wideband sensor where the primary sensor used to be. Right? My question is, how can I get the primary sensor to reach the cat?

I do already know about the LC1 being spliced into the ELD wire.

Im confused. Why do you want to use the OEM primary sensor still? Just take it out and tape up the connector. Run the wideband in place of it and splice the wire to send the signal.

Mine reaches just fine?

The pigtail section is like 20" long and ther are cable ties that need to come off on top of the tranny. It's a PITA, but it reaches OK for me (stock)
