Default Wider wheels/tires?

Are you guys with superchargers/turbos running wider tires to accommodate for the extra power?

What are you running? What is your opinion of the handling afterwards? Are you running wider for drag racing, or just to hold the power down?

I'm getting ready to order new rims and supercharging this spring, so I'm trying to get a better feel for what works.

Thanks!

i run a lm 9.5" rim with a 275-35-18 toyo ra1 on the rear. holds my power typically even in first gear

400+ prolly needs either boost by gear and/or drag radials are the best if switch setups and up the power, i will still run my tires above and just do boost by gear.

I am on 17x9 and 255 tires in the rear. Good enough for the streets.

Running and very much like the traction: 275/40-17 Toyo RA-1s on 9 inch Volks in the rear and 235/45/17 RA-1s on 7.5 inch Volks in the front.

I run iForged Aero 3 piece rims, 18"x10" rear and 18"x8" front. The rears now have 275/40 Bridgestone KDW DR's that stick very well at 18-20 psi tire pressure. I plan on sending my rear rims back to iForged to have the inner hoop changed to one that will add another 1" width to make them 11" wide so I can put 305/40 DR's on.
