Thumbs up Will a strut bar fit with a Vortech SC?

I had a cheapo strut bar in my car. Got it mostly to have something to grab on to. I know it does not improve handling. I am powder coating a bunch of stuff in my engine bay wrinkle black so was wanting to do the strut tower bar but just wanting to know if it will still fit with a Vortech sc in there as well.
If anyone knows please post up. Thanks.

It all depends on the bar. I had a CF Cusco and it wouldnt fit over the coolant cap of the aftercooler. So I just took it off. It would fit if you just tightened it down, but then it puts strain on the connectors and the strut bar becomes kind of useless because it is already bend/torqued out of shape just sitting there.

But that is with Cusco. Cant say for any other kind.

There are about 3 different versions of the billet Comptech bar. 1 of the 3 fit. The other 2 don't.

Not familiar with them really. I'll try to post a pic of the one I have and see if it looks like it will fit. If it should I will have it coated wrinkle black with the rest of my stuff.

Any bar that is centered on the shock towers will hit the aftercooler.

If you're doing a bunch of things I doubt it'll add much to the cost of powder coating. Just get it done and if it fits, great. If not, For Sale: One Nicely Powder Coated Strut Bar!

Yeah I guess that's true. If it fits great, if not will be worth more powder coated than it will be not coated.
