Default Is it worth it to retune on 110oct?

Sup Fellow S2000 owners. I've been itching for more power. When i had my car tuned, it was all done on 91oct. My tunner told me I could run a duel Map set-up where i can flip a switch and run 110oct or switch it to the 91oct tune whenever i wanted to. I didn't take him up on that offer, but now i'm thinking i might.

My question is, how much more power can i expect and is it worth it? Since i really cant raise the boost. (I'm running 12psi) right now on 91oct and making 355whp and 215wtq.

Who manufacturers the fuel, and what is the specific gravity?

What is the research octane and the motor octane if you have it?

Fuel is from VP. Its from a local gas station. I'm not sure on the rest of the stuff.

To the OP, how aggressive is your timing currently?

if you up the boost, then you can benefit from the fuel. otherwise, dont waste your time.

No Idea how aggressive the timing is, but I do know that it's a pretty conservative tune because it was on 91oct. Well raising the boost level is kind of out of the question because i'm supercharged. So if i won't gain that much more power through timing, then i probably won't waste my $500 on a retune.

For what purpous are you using the car? Street or track?
Perhaps you could start looking into lowering the weight of your car instead of trying to get more power out of it.
(lightweight wheels / brakes / bodyparts, etc).
355whp sounds like fun.
I'm currently running 370whp and 290lb/ft on a turbo setup and think it's perfect (if you're not completely upgrading gearbox / diff / with wider tires)

I use my car for 80% street 20% autocross and lapping days. I can't get my car lighter unless I really start to spend money or rip things out.

I have wider tires, comptech reinforced diff, mugen pressure plate w/ act clutch.

Sounds like retuning it won't be worth it. On lapping and autox days I do put race gas in my tank just to be safe. I don't know if that helps or hurts since I'm not tuned for it.

A splash can't hurt for safety measures. Running a full rank of 110 when you're tuned for 91 will hurt your power. 110 burns way slower

Hmmm...maybe that's why I only ran 13.6 @106mph. I had a full tank of 110oct gas.
