Default Would this IC work well?

I've been checking the FS forum daily for the past month and haven't seen an intercooler pop up used. I am trying to do this all on a budget, so no, I don't want to spend nearly 400 dollars on a new one that will do the same thing a used or offbrand one could do. I found this on ebay:

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FMIC-GODSPE...sspagenameZWDVW

Also, the pipe coming from the turbo is 2.5 inch. It's the Inlinepro one with the 90 degree bend and bov flange welded on. I could do all 2.5 inch piping and IC with 2.5 inlet/outlet but I'm thinking that I might want to do all 2.75 piping after that first 2.5 inch one. I could just get a 2.5 to 2.75 inch coupler, get the 2.75 in/out IC, and then I could go with a 70mm (2.75 inch) throttle body as well, matching the pipe size pretty well. Any thoughts on this? Should I do that or just go with all 2.5 inch with a 2.5 or 2.75 IC?

I say use the 2.5 inch piping and get reducers.
Also get the precision 600 it fits so perfect

I'm having a hard time finding one at a good price

Would it be a bad idea to do 2.75 from the IC to the throttle body?

Here is mine

turbo------1 foot of 2 inch pipe-----reducer from 2 - 2.5-----2.5 to IC----(ic inlet and outlet are 2.75 so i have another reducer)---other side of IC 2.5 piping to TB-----then to a 2.75-2.5 reducer. from pipe to tb

if that makes any sense

I realize the 2nd post was sarcastic, but was this one as well? I imagine it'd look like crap, but would it work alright?

Hmm, Kane deleted his posts. That sentence was to Kane's comments, not yours JDMS2000.

I'd still like to know if there are any downsides to having 2.75 inch piping coming into and out of the intercooler, and only having that one 2.5 inch pipe coming off the turbo.

The 2nd one was sarcastic but I've seen it done. The first one would work but I don't wanna be responsible for dumb stuff or for people to think it's ok to do

gotcha I'll stick to regular piping. I already have 3 ply silicone couplers and Tbolt clamps.

the only advantage i could think of it being a lot tighter of a fit as my 2.5 is tight already

Yes, that intercooler will work fine. I would get 2.5"-2.75" reducers.
